Nolle Prosse! Commonwealth v. T.G.

Nolle Prosse! Commonwealth v. T.G.

Convicted murderer T.G. was arrested for false imprisonment, unlawful restraint, indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors and corrupting the morals of a minor while staying at a halfway house on state parole. T.G. was taken back into state custody pending the resolution of his new criminal case. The case was initially thrown out, but then brought back. Once again, T.G. was incarcerated. Despite the extensive criminal record of  his client, Mr. Shaffer got involved and began to prepare zealously for trial. He spoke to his client and knew he had an innocent man who should not be punished for something he didn’t do. After extensive investigation, Mr. Shaffer was able to put together an airtight alibi: witnesses who were at the scene of the alleged event and another witness who was with his client while this was allegedly happening. At the first trial listing the DA requested a continuance for further investigation to investigate the alibi. At the next listing, the complaining witness was not located and the case was nolle prossed, ending prosecution and freeing T.G!
